What if you could have your every wish...
...whim...
...and desire.

What would you want?
And what would others want from you?
Jess Claiborne is about to find out.

**WINNER OF THE 2003 DREAM REALM AWARD FOR HORROR**

After eight years in a Mexican prison, Jess is attempting to readjust to normal life. Then he inherits a mysterious box from his murdered uncle--a box that will grant his every wish. Jess soon realizes that ownership of the box comes with a terrible price tag--possibly the life of the woman he loves, and his own.
"...a very good first novel ... an excellent introduction to an author who shows promise for big things."
--Fangoria Magazine

"This is Christopher Stires's first novel, and I hope not the last. His style is very crisp and concise, with no unnecessary waffle . the characters are few and each has a definite personality of their own. In all, a very well written book reminiscent of my favourite, Dean Koontz. Well Done."
--Eternal Night Magazine (UK)
“Rarely do stories capture the reader's interest so absolutely, but this one does … sinister and chilling…” -- Timeless Tales

"...Chris Stires has created a story that not only resonates with tons of thematic integrity but keeps you turning pages long after you say you're going to put the book down and go to bed."
--Mark Sevi, screenwriter of Arachnid, Force on Force, and Serial Killer
