Heavenly Family Fued

New Novel Follows Heavenly Beings' Adventures, Impacts on the Human World Is this really happening!

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- In a new fantasy novel about the coming apocalypse, Kill the Messenger: Gemini (now available through AuthorHouse), Johanna Nimley takes readers from the building of the Sphinx to modern times as battles between heavenly beings determine the fate of humanity.

Gemini and Lucifer are offspring of Ra, formerly known to humans as the Sun God. Gemini is the link between Ra and the primitive humans on the Earth while he is away. She serves as a messenger and a reminder of the eventual return of Ra. Lucifer is her brother, an immortal trapped on Earth who changes lives and bodies throught time. Gemini strives to save humanity, while Lucifer wants to enslave them to build machines, weapons and spaceships to take his kind, the Arians, to other worlds that they can enslave.

Lucifer and the Arians deceive the humans, making them believe that the machines they help create will rescue them from the Earth's destruction, while the real plan is to provide a means of escape for the Arians alone. Meanwhile, Gemini must find a way to save part of humanity and get the final message across to the humans before it is too late.

Nimley has lived in Charlotte, N.C., most of her life. She identifies as an "Army Brat" and believes that has influenced her writing and outlook on life. Nimley enjoys science fantasy and fiction movies and books, and is excited to present her own fantasy novel. Kill the Messenger: Gemini is her first book, and she is currently working on Kill the Messenger: Ra, which takes readers to the beginning of the saga.
