Hello and welcome to the personal Author's page ofMichael D. TurnerFantasist and Madman Coming soon, my latest-- Bash Down the Door and Slice Open the Badguy-- which contains my story "An Incident at Black Tongue Tavern". Which is without a doubt the funniest story written in English. Well, maybe. The story, "An American Past Time" is about baseball in Eric Flint's 1632 universe. Having written it only to help Deann with the baseball details, the writing bug bit hard and I was soon at work on my own stories. The first one of which appeared here; That story, "Psyched Up" can be found in the publishers sample chapters here:http://www.webscription.net/chapters/0743488571/0743488571.htm?blurbIt is chapter three. More of my work has been featured in these other fine publications.Alienskinshttp://www.alienskinmag.com/ssubguide2.htmFeatured my short-short "Slush Piles" way back in Dec 04, unfortunately the story is no longer archived. Fortunately you'll be able to read the story in an upcoming issue ofBetween the Kisseshttp://www.samsdotpublishing.com/betweenkisses/cover.htmContinuum SFFeatured a story of mine in their sixth issue."Dutchman Rescue", one of my infrequent ventures into SF. You can get a copy here:http://www.continuumsciencefiction.com/orders.htmAmazing Journeys Magazine, now sadly defunct, brought out one of my favorite tales "Two Ravens", lucky for me it will soon make another appearance in Tales of the Talismanhttp://www.zianet.com/hadrosaur/index.htmlWhich will also be featuring another of my tales, "Stains". "Stains" should be in the next issue, and Two Ravens out in the fall-07 issue. Still lots to come from me, unfortunately nothing under contract as of this writing.
