SFReader Author Page: Paul Abbamondi

Hello, and welcome!

Paul Abbamondi is a speculative fiction writer surviving humbly in New Jersey. He is also a short fiction reviewer for Tangent Online, an associate book reviewer for FantasyBookSpot, and an editor for the zine Sword's Edge. He can also be found amongst the many at Critters.

Here you will find out more about Paul and his writings, along with some of his personal book recommendations and much, much more. If interested, feel free to read about his pursuit to publication and stardom over at his blog, Wistful Writings.

Thanks for stopping by!

Biography

For many years now Paul has written down bits of story ideas and character sketches in dozens of notebooks, but they never did much more than collect dust in his desk drawers. After reviewing some of these ideas, he decided it was best they collect dust and started anew.

He began to seriously write in May 2005 after graduating college with a major in journalism, and has high hopes for the future. During the day he works as an assistant editor for a market and research firm, but by night he types away with fervor, deleting adverbs left and right.

Some of the books that have had a major impact on his life and writing are George Orwell's 1984, China Miéville's Perdido Street Station, J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett's Small Gods, and Ursula K. Le Guin's entire life's work.
