LE COEUR, ROYEmail: roy.lecoeur@hotmail.co.uk Website: www.rdlecoeur.net
Roy was educated at Lucton public school and groomed for a life out in the British Empire as a minor official, probably somewhere hot. Unfortunately by the time he graduated the British Empire had expired twenty years prior and no one had told the teachers. Roy is happily divorced and lives with his two boys and a pedigree Dalmatian in South Wales, UK. He has always had a passion for literature. He is currently hard at work on a ‘paranormal’ young adult contemporary adventure set in West Wales. He has hopefully deftly woven shards of Celtic mythology into a deceivingly simple but beguiling storyline. Currently estimated to run to over 600 pages it will be his longest novel yet. The working title at present is Serendipity.
Reviews: With respect to The Spartacus Prophecy (ywo/Legend Press Partnerships, 2009)
"…This thoroughly gripping tale grasps the reader’s attention with a clenched fist and holds it throughout. The author’s obvious enthusiasm, careful research and detailed knowledge of this historical setting are deftly woven into the writing. Well developed characters and subtle attention to dialogue combine to create a palpable realism that allows us to be comfortably led through the plot. Consequently, The Spartacus Prophecy could easily break the boundaries of its genre and attract a much wider appeal…" Gareth E. Hill

The message in the bottle they find contains a riddle that has to be solved and as they both believe that there is treasure to be found, a friendship springs up and an adventure begun.

The Spartacus Prophecy (ywo/Legend Press Partnerships, 2009)
The real life of Spartacus was far more complex than Hollywood would have you believe. There really was a Spartacus Prophecy and no body of the gladiator was ever found. Commencing at the final battle of the third servile war, the story covers an epic journey of one man’s struggle against oppression.
